Motley Crue singer Vince Neil is denying rumors that he that has been cast to appear on the next season of NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice, but did confirm that he has spoken to the show about it.
“Been off for awhile,” tweeted Neil. “New phone password didn’t work! The rumor about apprentice was started by a loser wannabe reporter Norm Clark who I haven’t seen or talked to in over 2 years! I’ve talked to the show but that’s it! But if I got the offer I’d do it!! Sounds fun!!”
If the Crue frontman were to join the series, Vince would be following in the footsteps of other rockers who have appeared on the show, including Poison’s Bret Michaels, Meat Loaf and Twisted Sister’s Dee Snider.
Last week, Norm Clarke at the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported that Neil has been telling friends he’s heading for Donald Trump’s boardroom on the show’s upcoming season.
