Geez… just like a Bruin fan to play outside of the rules. While listening this morning to the Ben McVie show, I heard that our friendly bet over the Habs/Bruins series had been “enhanced”. The bet of putting on the other team’s jersey is now apparently “wear the other team’s jersey at various locations around the city as a form of public humiliation.”
Ben’s dealing from a position of power considering that the Bruins are reigning Presidents Trophy winners and my Habs recently finished last in the Easter Conference. It’s exactly what I’d expect from a fan of the team who believes that a stick to the gonads or a head into a stanchion are “hockey plays”!
What do you think? Should I accept his new rules for the bet? If I accept it and lose, perhaps I’ll wear this new Bruins 3rd jersey.
