What kind of stuff would you imagine Kurt Cobain to have listened to before releasing his own music?
Well, someone found a mixtape that he apparently made back in 1988 when he was 21 years old. This would have been about a year before Nirvana released their first album, Bleach.
It’s a pretty weird mix. Because it’s not only music clips from random songs… but a bunch of sound effects too. There’s stuff from Mike Douglas, Simon & Garfunkel, The Beatles, Van Halen, James Brown, Cher, Metallica, Zeppelin, Queen, plus sounds from Star Wars, The Flintstones, and Sesame Street all on here.
