A relatively new feature in social media platforms are videos that autoplay; you don’t have to hit a start icon to watch the video. It’s normally a handy little feature, until it plays a video that contains content that you don’t actually want to see.
Yesterday’s shooting of two TV journalists on live TV, then the subsequent popping up of the video on Facebook and Twitter feeds has led many people to wonder how they can disable the autoplay feature to avoid unknowingly watching disturbing content.
