AC/DC Receive Another Temp Singer Offer
Howlin’ Pelle Almqvist of The Hives has offered a public application to AC/DC to stand-in for Brian Johnson on a series of postponed US dates. AC/DC halted the Rock Or Bust tour last week after Johnson was ordered by doctors to stop performing over fears he could lose his hearing.
The band have vowed to rescheduled 10 US concerts later in the year and Almqvist is throwing his hat in the ring for the gig after the Swedish outfit supported AC/DC on an Australian tour late last year.
Bryan Adams’ Vintage Guitar ‘Defaced’ By Customs Officials
Bryan Adams has called out customs officials at Cairo International Airport who ‘defaced’ his instrument collection. The staff allegedly scrawled on the instruments with green indelible marker, including his prized vintage guitar – a 1957 Martin D-18 worth thousands of dollars.
Placebo Announce 1st Leg Of 20th Anniversary Tour
Placebo have announced the first leg of their world tour that they will be launching in October to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the release of their platinum selling debut album ‘Placebo’.
The first leg of the ’20 Years of Placebo’ tour will be kicking off off in Denmark on October 13th 2016 and will conclude at Wembley Arena in London on December 15th 2016. The band will announce their 2017 dates at a later date.

1981—Eric Clapton was admitted to United Hospital in St. Paul, MN after an attack of bleeding ulcers which caused Clapton to cancel a 60 city tour of the U.S.
1982—Metallica performed their first concert at Radio City in Anaheim, CA. There were approximately 200 people in attendance & their nine song set only had two original songs.
2003—Robert Trujillo performed his last concert as Ozzy Osbourne’s bassist in Las Vegas at the Hard Rock Hotel, as Trujillo had accepted the bassist vacancy in Metallica. Sharon Osbourne was rushed to a hospital during the concert due to heat exhaustion.
2005—U2, The Pretenders, Buddy Guy, & Percy Sledge were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. U2 were inducted by Bruce Springsteen, The Pretenders were inducted by Neil Young, Eric Clapton inducted Buddy Guy & Rod Stewart inducted Percy Sledge.

Wife Takes Disney Ride With Epic Angry Face
Jordan Alexander was stewing—or so it seemed. Her husband Steve snapped a photo of her riding Splash Mountain at Disney World with a serious crease in her brow because he wouldn’t ride with her, Inside Edition reports. “Splash Mountain’s my favorite ride,” she says. “[Steve] is not a ride guy but he promised me and he promised me he would go.” At the last minute Steve backed out, and Jordan practiced her angry face. “I thought it would kind of be funny if my husband had a memento of how mad he made me,” she says.
