After a brief disappearance following speculation that he has split with is long-time wife and manager Sharon, Ozzy Osbourne will be making a special announcement with Slipknot’s Corey Taylor in Los Angeles on Thursday.
The nature of the announcement has not been revealed but leading speculation is that it may be possibly be the announcement of a Ozzfest/Knotfest like music festival. Read more here.
— Alice In Chains have announced that they will be hitting the road this summer for a headline tour and have revealed the July dates for the first leg of the North America tour. It’s expected that more dates will be added; no word yet on Canadian shows.
— Desert Trip, the mega-festival featuring the Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, The Who, Roger Waters and Bob Dylan, has been expanded to a second weekend. The same lineup will also perform on October 14, 15 and 16. Single day tickets for the dates are being sold for $199 and three day passes are ranging from $399 to $1599.
— Courtney Love has posted a picture of her with two of her former Hole bandmates with the caption: “With the girls, serving up a Hole lot of something… maybe.” Could a reunion be in the works?
— Guns N’ Roses singer Axl Rose didn’t speak to Brian Johnson before taking on the guest vocal role in AC/DC. He says it was only because that with the hectic rehearsal schedule he couldn’t find the time to make perfect arrangements before the Rock Or Bust tour resumed over the weekend.

Want to be taller? Doctors in India have been lengthening legs at a relatively low cost.
For a few thousand dollars, patients have a bone broken in each leg and a metal device placed around the lower legs to pull the bone apart and stimulate growth. In a few months the patient is 2 inches taller.
“I have so much confidence now,” says a 24-year-old who had it done. “I was just 4′ 6″. People used to make fun of me and I couldn’t get a job.”
