Sharon Osbourne Addresses Ozzy Split Rumors
Ozzy Osbourne’s wife Sharon has made her first public comments following their recent breakup over accusations that he’s been having an affair with a 45-year-old hairstylist.
Sharon kicked Ozzy out of their Los Angeles mansion last week, but since then he’s returned home, and it’s Sharon who’s decided to move out.
After returning to her TV show The Talk, Sharon was asked if her marriage was over: “I honestly, at this point today, have no idea what I’m doing with the rest of my life. I need time to think. I really want to think about it very carefully. I’m 63 years of age and I can’t keep living like this… I spoke to him last night. I’m not with him, but I speak with him. I love Ozzy dearly, he’s given me an unbelievable life and three gorgeous children.”
— KISS’ Gene Simmons has apologized after controversial comments he made about the death of Prince, when he said, “How pathetic that he killed himself. Don’t kid yourself, that’s what he did. Slowly, I’ll grant you, but that’s what drugs and alcohol is: a slow death.”
— Van Halen manager Irving Azoff has called on YouTube to come up with a fairer deal for musicians. He says YouTube’s policy of not allowing artists to opt out of appearing on the site means they have to send YouTube a notice every time one of their songs is uploaded by a different user – a situation Azoff says is “impossible” to stay on top of.
— Motley Crue have announced that they will be premiering “The End”, the concert film of their final show, in theaters on June 14 via Fathom Events.

Teacher’s Amazing ‘Homework’ Assignment Goes Viral
Students in the UK are taking their standardized tests this week, and one teacher’s “homework” assignment in advance of the testing is going viral.
“It is vital that you use your time this weekend wisely,” reads the assignment handed out last week, before going on to list some activities the students should complete: ride a bike, read a book, eat some ice cream, watch some TV, go swimming, play with friends, or just relax, to name a few.
The teacher adds that if students feel they must study, they should do so for no longer than one hour.
