You marvel right away when you hear it, read about it or look at any image. The name of a legend. Whether you are a sports fan or a fan of ambition. At the age of 74, the world has lost not only an incredible athlete but an advocate to change our thought process into something meaningful, passionate, pushing us into a positive mindset. He is the greatest of all time, he is Muhammad Ali. To speak honestly, I don’t know much of his career, which right now, as people share their stories, saddens me. I am intrigued by his ethical responses to controversial issues and and his extreme belief in self perseverance. It is strikingly clear that aside from his title of three-time World Heavyweight Champion in boxing, he was an advocate of the “I Am” statement. A faith so strong in himself, he knew it even before the rest of the world could witness it unfold. Muhammad Ali battled Parkinson’s disease for 32 years and passed at the age of 74 on Friday June 3. Rest in peace.
