Rock News of the Day
KISS will revisit their glory days of the 70s by launching a new line of comic books this fall.
The series will see four young friends embark on a dangerous mission – to uncover the truth about the mysterious Council of Elders and their underground home, the city of Blackwell.
Says bassist Gene Simmons: “Having our own comic book, I have to say, rekindles the thrill I first had as a young teenager, as I followed the adventures of my favorite superheroes. This is going to be fun.”

Melania Trump speech controversy
Though she’s stayed in the background of Donald Trump’s presidential campaign until now, his wife, Melania, stepped into the spotlight last night at the Democratic National Convention in Cleveland to deliver the keynote speech of the evening. Except at least one passage of her speech sounded a little… familiar.
Here’s the comparison between Melania speech last night, and First Lady Michelle Obama’s from the same event in 2008:

Scientists Determine How Much Pot Is in a Joint
How much pot should you roll into your joints?
The journal Drug and Alcohol Dependence, using nearly a decade’s worth of data encompassing 10,628 marijuana transactions per federal arrest data, they concluded the average is 0.32 grams, at an average joint cost of $3.50. There are roughly 28 grams in an ounce, meaning an ounce of weed should yield about 88 joints.
By the way, this number is lower than previous estimates, in part because today’s pot is much stronger than that of the mid-90’s.
The Rio Olympics hoped to be the horniest ever
The International Olympic Committee has ordered a staggering 450,000 condoms to be supplied to the 10,500 athletes taking up residence in the Athletes’ Village.
That’s three times more than were provided for London 2012.
The math: every athlete would need to have sex 43 times to get through all the condoms. With the Games taking place over 17 days, that would mean every athlete having sex 2-3 times a day – every day.
