The Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum had a special visitor this past week in Hamilton. The B-17 Flying Fortress: A Sentimental Journey, adorned with the beautiful Betty Grable, made its mark next to our own VeRA Lancaster Bomber and the B-25 Mitchell for the annual night run. The decal on the B-17? Why that is Hollywood starlit Betty Grable, captured in one of the most iconic Second World War era pin up photographs, splashed on the aircraft as part of the nose art.
Check out the photo gallery below! September 5 marks the last day for the B-17 visit. Here is a link for more information: http://www.warplane.com/events/upcoming-events/event-details.aspx?eventId=30
