There were many things that I loved about living in southern Quebec, including winter, which could be one of the most picturesque seasons to explore the streets of Montreal. One thing I DIDN’T miss, however, was the first real snowfall of the season. Even though Montrealers are famous for their ability to drive like madmen in winter weather, the occasional hill on the side of Mount Royal coats itself with black ice to humble even the most experienced bus, police car, and even snow plow driver.
Check it out… then the video starts there was already a 4-car pileup at the bottom of the hill. Cue the Benny Hill theme music:
My favourite part of the whole video is the bystander that waves goodbye to the snowplow/salter when it starts it’s doomed trip down the hill. 🙂
Do you mind driving in winter weather?
