Guns N’ Roses felt the love on their Australian and New Zealand leg of their Not In This Lifetime reunion tour. Their promotor reports that they sold 353,000 tickets for the 8 shows, including a sell out at the MCG in Melbourne which holds 74,000 people. That made the band the first international act to sell out that venue.
Coldplay’s Chris Martin turned 40 on March 2, and he celebrated with a Willy Wonka-themed party, taking inspiration from the Gene Wilder classic. Decorations included giant cupcakes and lollipops. Guests included Beyonce and Jay-Z, Rob Lowe, Robert Downey Jr. and Orlando Bloom.
