You know, there’s nothing wrong with a little hanky panky in the bedroom once the sun goes down! Heck, even when the sun is still up! Nothing wrong with a little afternoon delight! But it turns out that whether it be in the dark or in the light, PEOPLE AREN’T HAVING SEX!
Well, not as much as they used to anyway! There was a new study published by the Archives of Sexaul Behavior and they’re saying that people are having LESS sex now than they did back in the 1990s! Back then, folks had sex an average of 60-65 times a year, but in 2014, that number dropped to 53 times a year.
So why are people having less sex? There a few factors involved, including a decline in happiness for people over 30. But the main reasons they say are social media and video streaming. So it turns out that Netflix and Chill is a total lie, people are just watching Netflix! There is no “Chilling” aka sexy time after you binge watch! We’re so focused on our devices and the like that we’re not paying as much attention to our partners!
The study did also reveal that it’s mostly millennials and generation Z who were having less sex. People over 70? Still getting it on after all these years!
