Sammy Hagar says that he’d be interested in reuniting with Van Halen as long as a couple of conditions are met. First, it would have to include original singer David Lee Roth and original bassist Michael Anthony, and second, because he says that he doesn’t need the money, Sammy would want the profits from the tour to go to charity.
Late music legend David Bowie appeared on British postage stamps in character as Ziggy Stardust, and the British Royal Mail have launched them into space on helium balloons. 52 collections were launched into the stratosphere from a height of 34,100 meters. They’ll eventually fall back to Earth, making them instant Bowie collectables… if you can find one of them.
Weezer will be releasing a new song Friday morning, called, “Feels Like Summer.” The band released a teaser on Tuesday. “Feels Like Summer” will be their first new music since 2016’s Grammy Award-winning self-titled full-length album known more commonly as the White album. Check out the clip:
Fans of the Cranberries will have something new to look forward to: the release of their new album “Something Else”, in stores on April 28th. It’ll feature new acoustic versions of their classic hits along with three new songs, all featuring a string quartet from the Irish Chamber Orchestra.
U2’s bassist Adam Clayton will be honored at the 13th annual MusiCares Benefit Concert this year. He’ll receive the Stevie Ray Vaughan Award for his work with the MusiCares Fund, an organization that assists musicians in recovery by offering sober living resources and other kinds of support.
