Former Pearl Jam drummer Matt Chamberlain says he will be unable to attend the band’s induction into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame next month. Though he’s thrilled to see the band being recognized. Matt joined Pearl Jam in 1991 for live dates in advance of the release of their debut, “Ten”. Following an appearance in the video for “Alive”, Chamberlain left o join the house band for Saturday Night Live during the 1991-1992 season.
Cold War Kids have released a new live studio session video featuring frontman Nathan Willett and Bishop Briggs performing an acoustic version of the new track “So Tied Up” (Los Feliz Blvd). The studio version of “So Tied Up” also features Briggs and will be included on the band’s forthcoming album, “LA Divine” which is scheduled to hit stores on April 7th. Watch it here:
Blink-182 are streaming a new track called “Parking Lot,” which comes with the details of the deluxe version of their latest album “California”. Weezer have released a stream of their brand new track “Feels Like Summer” as they prepare to kick off their North American tour tonight. The song will appear on their new album, due this summer. So far the only Canadian shows announced are out west. They will also be headlining to Europe this fall for a trek that will begin on October 15th. Listen to “Feels Like Summer” here:
