Guns N’ Roses has claimed the top spot on Pollstar’s 2016 highest-average-gross-sales-per-city list for their shows on their Not In This Lifetime reunion world tour last year. The tour, which featured original members Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan, topped the list with an average gross of $5,004,737 for each stop on the tour.
Aerosmith have decided to postpone their American Aero-Vederci Baby! Tour leg this fall in order to work on new music. Guitarist Joe Perry said that they have another album in them—if not two—so they want to take a crack at writing and recording before heading out on the road one last time.
The studio console used by Pink Floyd to record their 1973 album, “The Dark Side Of The Moon”, sold at auction for more than double its pre-sale estimate. It’s one of only two of the type ever made, and went under the hammer for $1.8-million, and was housed in Abbey Road’s famous Studio 2 from 1971 to 1983.
