Last night was the Season 7 finale of THE WALKING DEAD, capping off what has been a controversial season for the show. It started with the infamous deaths of Glenn and Abraham at the end of Negan’s bloody bat, and essentially the whole season has been Negan physically and emotionally torturing Rick and the survivors.
SPOILER ALERT: The season finale saw Rick and his friends get their first real victory against Negan and the Saviors. Sasha died (and become a zombie) in the process, sacrificing herself for the good of the others. And after a huge gun fight in Alexandria, Negan retreated to fight another day (plus declare all out war), and Rick and our survivors took a moment to reflect and get ready for what’s next. This year’s finale was different than last year’s huge cliffhanger ending. It was a decent finale, I expected that Negan would survive and live till next season. I enjoyed the episode, but as usual, we are left hanging to see what’s next until October.
I know a lot of fans have ditched the show this season because of it’s tendency to move at a snail’s pace. Did you enjoy The Walking Dead finale? Will you stick with it?
