>>> The Who continue to add dates to their North American summer tour plans in addition to the group’s upcoming residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The band’s summer tour will kick off at the Summer Festival of Québec on July 13th. The Vegas residency runs for six shows: July 29th through August 11th.
>>> Metallica’s latest studio album “Hardwired…To Self-Destruct” has reached platinum status in the States for sales of 1 million copies since its release last November. That target was reached April 12th. The album saw a jump in sales when it was bundled with tickets to their summer stadium tour of North America when they went on sale in mid-February.
>>> Nickelback have released a new music video for the title track to their new album, “Feed The Machine”, which will be released June 9th. They’ll support the record with a North American tour that will begin in Noblesville, Indiana on June 23. Toronto gets the third show on the tour, at Budweiser Stage June 27th.

>> > A new Prince EP called “Deliverance”–featuring six previously-unreleased tracks–may be released tomorrow, which would be the first anniversary of his death. However, it’s being legally challenged by his estate. They say that the EP’s producer, George Ian Boxill, has been illegally holding onto the tracks, and are now suing for ownership and $75,000.
