Guns N’ Roses have announced that this fall will be playing an historic show when they share the stage with The Who. The concert will be taking place on October 1st in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The show will be part of The Who’s very first trip to South America, and will GN’R’s performance at this year’s Rock in Rio Festival, September 23rd in Rio de Janeiro.
Linkin Park have released an official video for the single, “Good Goodbye” featuring Pusha T and Stormzy, from their forthcoming album, “One More Light.” In the clip, NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar oversees a supernatural dunk contest. “Good Goodbye” is the third tune issued in advance of the May 19 release of One More Light. Linkin Park play Budweiser Stage in Toronto on August 8th. Check out the video here:
The numbers are in for Record Store Day sales on April 22nd, and the Grateful Dead and The Beatles were the top vinyl album and single sellers. The Grateful Dead live set recorded in Vancouver in 1966 was the top album, white the top single was a remastered version of the Beatles’ “Strawberry Fields Forever” and “Penny Lane.”
Megadeth front man Dave Mustaine says that there’s only one thing keeping more Big Four shows from happening… and that’s Metallica. Megadeth, Slayer, and Anthrax are all aboard, and Dave says that it’s his former band Metallica that’s the only holdout.
