One of the more frustrating things about grocery shopping is when you just need a little of something—perhaps a sprig of parsley for the night’s dinner, or something from the bulk food section—but you’re forced to buy an entire bunch of the stuff just because that’s how it’s packaged in the store. You feel bad because you have to spend the extra money on something that’s just going to go to waste. So… you pinch off a sprig and leave the rest of the bunch behind… or do you?
