Director Zack Snyder has pulled away from the production of JUSTICE LEAGUE after the death of his daughter, who passed away in March at the age of 20 due to suicide. Understandably, he’s taking time to be with his family and will hand the reigns of the movie over to Joss Whedon, director of THE AVENGERS as well as the upcoming BATGIRL movie. Whedon will write some new scenes for the film as well as direct re-shoots this summer. It’s unfortunate that Zack can’t finish the film, but he has left it in good hands with Joss. We’re sending our thoughts and prayers out to the Snyder family at this difficult time.
Justice League hits theatres on November 17.
