Arcade Fire have released a music video for their new single “Everything Now” and announced that they will be hitting the road for the Infinite Content Tour, which will kick off on September 5th in Quebec City and conclude on November 3rd in Toronto, at the Air Canada Centre. The new song is the title track to the band’s forthcoming album, which is set to be released on July 28th. Check out the new video here:
Chris Cornell’s widow, Vicky, and her family released a statement yesterday regarding the investigation into his death in a Detroit hotel on May 17th following a Soundgarden show. It was immediately ruled a suicide by hanging following an initial autopsy, but Vicki is waiting for the results of pending toxicology tests, fully aware that Chris had taken a prescribed anti-anxiety medicine called Ativan. She also says that she has not seen the police or toxicology reports, wondering why the medical examiner announced a cause of death when the full autopsy report has not been completed.
Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age has penned the score for the new film “In the Fade”, which follows a story about a woman looking to get revenge against a neo-Nazi group after they killed her husband and son. The director sent Josh an early cut of the film, and he immediately agreed to work on it.
