Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry says that the band members changed their minds about retiring when faced with the reality that their “Aero-Vederci Baby!” tour would be their last one. He says that it was a good idea when they first started planning the European and South American legs of the tour, but as they started playing shows, and knew when the end of the current tour would be, they decided that they’d like keep the band active to get it to its 50th anniversary.
Former Creed and current Art Of Anarchy singer Scott Stapp leads the lineup for the 2017 Make America Rock Again Tour which will also include Sick Puppies, Drowning Pool, Trapt, and Adelitas Way in alternating lineups. The tour will be kicking off with Drowning Pool and Trapt in Sturgis on August 4th and will conclude on August 8th in Lynchburg, VA at the Blue Ridge Rock Fest.
The American Valhalla documentary about the musical journey of Iggy Pop and Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Joshua Homme is scheduled to hit movie theaters later this month. Josh co-directed the film, which looks back at the inception and making of Iggy Pop’s 2016 album “Post Pop Depression” and the supporting tour.
