They want their money back: attorneys for Led Zeppelin have filed a motion requesting that the plaintiffs pay their legal costs and fees as they continue to fight an appeal in the “Stairway To Heaven” copyright infringement lawsuit involving members Jimmy Page and Robert Plant. They had claimed that Page and Plant had ripped off the acoustic intro of the song from the song “Taurus” that was recorded by the band Spirit, though last year the court denied the charge.
Train have release their own version of the Led Zeppelin II album, and would like to take their favourite band along with them on their fifth-annual Sail Across the Sun tour. But since they’re not available, they’ve invited along the next-best thing: Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Experience. The cruise leaves New Orleans next March 7th.
Kiss have launched a line of protective covers and wallpapers for Google’s Pixel and Nexus phones. The band collaborated with Sophie Simmons – daughter of Kiss bassist and vocalist Gene – to create a total of 12 Artwork Live Cases designs that are said to “re-imagine the band’s unparalleled visual history for the digital age and bring the Kiss Experience to the palm of your hand.” The cases are now available from Google.
