Ozzy Osbourne was on social medial last week teasing the possibility of the return of Ozzfest… and that’s now been followed by confirmation about the official announcement. An event listing on the Ozzfest Facebook page says that the “Ozzfest Meets Knotfest 2017 Announcement” will be happening on July 10. Longtime Ozzy solo guitarist Zakk Wylde will also be back for live shows this year.
The Killers will be releasing their new single “The Man” this Friday, and they’re also testing out another new song on the road. A couple of nights ago in Atlantic City, they debuted “Run for Cover”, which is about 8 years old and was originally intended for the “Day & Age” album, but now seems like it may make it onto their new album. Earlier this year, Blink-182’s former frontman Tom DeLonge revealed he would be directing a sci-fi movie called Strange Times. Yesterday, he revealed the lead actors who have been cast. Jack Samson of Zodiac will play the role of Charlie Wilkens, while Lizze Broadway of Bones and Chicago PD will assume the part of Alli. No word yet on when production will start or a planned release date for the movie.
