AC/DC guitarist Angus Young joined Guns N’ Roses for a surprise performance of a pair of classic AC/DC tracks in Hannover, Germany. They ripped through “Whole Lotta Rosie” and “Riff Raff”… but not until after a bit of a delay: a thunderstorm forced the band to leave the stage for 90 minutes after just 4 songs of their set.
The Foo Fighters headlined the UK’s Glastonbury Festival on Saturday night. You’ll remember that the band had to cancel their last appearance at the festival after Dave Grohl suffered a leg fracture when he fell off the stage in Gothenburg. Former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher will release his debut solo album, “As You Were”, on October 6. It follows a five-year, two-record stint with Beady Eye, who disbanded in 2014. North American dates have been announced for this fall, including a show at Rebel in Toronto November 23rd. Check out the album’s first single, “Wall of Glass”:
