Nirvana recorded their first demo tape Jan. 23, 1988. The next day, the band filmed a video afterhours in an Aberdeen, Washington Radio Shack. Though clips of the performance have been seen before, the full 17-minute recording has never been released in its entirety… until now. Check it out:
Original KISS guitarist Ace Frehley has been talking reunion with his former band again. He revealed that he has collaborated with KISS bassist Gene Simmons, but so far there have been absolutely no talks between Ace and the band about a reunion tour. He thinks that it would happen if a promoter came forward with the right amount of cash, but for now he’s content to tour with his solo band, which goes to Australia in October with Alice Cooper.
Blink-182 have released a new version of their music video for their ballad, “Home Is Such A Lonely Place”, which comes from their latest album, California. The new video features Mark Hoppus and his family as he prepares to leave on tour, hanging around the house playing guitar with his son, wife and the family dog before heading out in his Tesla before playing on stage in front of thousands. Each of the band members are making a video of the song in the same style.
Arcade Fire have debuted a new song called “Chemistry” which comes from their upcoming record, ‘Everything Now’, which will be released July 28. The band premiered the new tune during a show in London. They have already released the title track, “Creature Comfort” and “Signs of Life” from their fifth studio album and their Infinite Content tour will stretch into the fall.
