Black Sabbath have released a video trailer for their farewell concert film, “The End Of The End”, filmed at the last concert by Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler – original drummer Bill Ward sat out the reunion tours due to contractual issues. It will debut in cinemas worldwide on September 28th, and will be a specially-edited version of the concert film ahead of its official release later this year, including studio footage of some of their favourite songs not played on the tour.
Rolling Stones’ guitarist Keith Richards says that the band is preparing to record its next album, “very, very shortly.” This will be its first album of original material in 12 years. They were actually in the studio working on new songs when a spontaneous jam session let to their blues cover album, Blue & Lonesome, and the new songs were shelved until now.
Not only is Kid Rock running for a senate seat in Michigan, but a new poll shows that he’s leading early on in the race. Thirty percent say they would vote for Kid Rock, twenty-six percent would go for the incumbent Senator, with forty-four percent remaining undecided. Of those who have made up their minds, fifty-four percent would give Kid Rock their vote.
