Chris Cornell’s family have announced that they have commissioned a sculpture to honour the late Soundgarden and Audioslave singer in his hometown of Seattle. The same guy who sculpted Johnny Ramone’s memorial will create the monument, which Chris’ wife Vicky expects will take seven months to complete.
A man from Albuquerque, New Mexico is facing disorderly conduct and indecent exposure charges after allegedly urinating on a family of three at a Metallica concert. They told police that after they “felt warm liquid washing over their backs and legs” during the show, the father turned around to confront the man, who had exposed himself. Oddly enough, police say that the man was heavily intoxicated when he was arrested.
Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready is streaming a new instrumental track called “Grandmother Earth”, in advance of the release of the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack for the 2015 film, “The Glamour & The Squalor” on September 1st. The documentary traces the life a Seattle DJ how helped break artists like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, Beck, and The Presidents of the United States of America.
