On the advice of his doctors, Aerosmith have cancelled the final four shows of a South American tour after Steven Tyler was forced to deal with unexpected medical issues. He’s expected to make a full recovery from the mystery illness, bust shows in Brazil, Chile, Argentina and Mexico have been affected.
Robert Plant has announced dates for an early 2018 tour of North America in support of his forthcoming album, Carry Fire. The 3-week run of theaters will begin in Raleigh, NC on February 9, and will include a show at Massey hall in Toronto February 17th. More dates will be announced later this year. Carry Fire is Robert’s eleventh solo album, and from it we also get an animated video featuring a duet with Pretenders singer Chrissie Hynde. Check out “Bluebirds Over the Mountain”:
Pearl Jam are streaming a performance of their 1994 track, “Corduroy”, as a preview to the debut of their concert film, Let’s Play Two, and the release of its companion soundtrack album on September 29. The film documents the final two shows of the band’s 2016 North American tour at Wrigley Field in Chicago last August. It will have its television debut immediately after Game 1 of the American League Championship Series, ahead of its official release November 17th.
