During a show in Berlin, Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan performed a slew of new songs from his upcoming solo album, Ogilala, which is set to be released on October 13th. Among the new songs is “Zowie,” a tribute to David Bowie. He also played “Processional”, “The Long Goodbye”, “Half-Life of an Autodidact”, “Mandarynne”, and “Antietam”, Billy also performed previously released tracks from the album, “The Spaniard” and “Aeronaut.” Watch the full show here:

On September 25, Tom Petty played the final show of his career on the closing date of a tour to celebrate the 40th anniversary of his band Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, at the Hollywood Bowl. Queens Of The Stone Age’s Josh Homme and Dean Fertita appeared on the BBC last night, teamed up with a six-piece string section for a version of their track “Villains Of Circumstance”, which closes out their latest album Villains, which was released last month. The band are about to head out on tour across the US and will head to Europe for further shows in November.
Iron Maiden have released a video introducing their new “Hallowed” beer, just in time for Halloween. Singer Bruce Dickinson takes you behind the scenes at Robinson’s Brewery to show how the beer was made. The band had previously worked with the same brewery to come up with their “Trooper” beer. Bruce will release his new book, What Does This Button Do? on October 18th.
