The Foo Fighters announced on Sunday night that they have been posted to postponed two additional tour dates this week, after pushing back a show this weekend at the last minute due to a “family emergency”. Tonight’s show in Nashville and Tuesday’s show in Memphis have been rescheduled to dates in May. Linkin Park have announced that fans around the world will now be able to take part in this week’s Chester Bennington tribute concert. The show will stream live, free of charge, exclusively on YouTube Friday, October 27th starting at 10:45 p.m. ET. Among the artists joining Linkin Park for the show include Blink-182, Machine Gun Kelly, Jonathan Davis from Korn, members of No Doubt, System Of A Down, Avenged Sevenfold, and many other surprises.
Friday (October. 20th) would have been Tom Petty’s 67th birthday, and fans marked the occasion by having a “vampire walk” last Thursday night along Ventura Boulevard in Sherman Oaks, which Petty mentions in his 1989 hit, “Free Fallin'” (“All the vampires walkin’ through the valley/Move west down Ventura Blvd.”). An estimated 300 Petty fans dressed in Gothic and vampire attire; a Tom Petty lookalike led singalongs of Tom’s songs.
