Queens Of The Stone Age have announced a huge show set for London, England next summer. In a show billed as ‘Queens Of The Stone Age and Friends’ for June 30th, other acts announced include Iggy Pop, Swedish garage-rock outfit The Hives, and Run The Jewels. The bad are currently touring in support of their latest album, Villains.
Neil Young will be playing a special acoustic “homecoming” show titled Somewhere in Canada on December 1, in a small venue that holds around 200 people. The locations is going to be a surprise; Neil has put a number of venues on hold across the country. While most fans won’t be able to attend, the show will be broadcast on Facebook Live. The concert’s date coincides with the release of Neil’s new album The Visitor, as well as the launch of the Neil Young Archives.
A guitar collector will put his collection of 19 Fender Stratocasters up for auction later this month to raise cash for a Northern Ireland hospice. Some of the guitars have been signed by Slash from Guns N’ Roses, Def Leppard’s Vivian Campbell and ex-Motley Crue frontman Vince Neil, former Rolling Stones bassist Bill Wyman. The collector picked up the guitars and signatures by participating in various rock camps.
