Earlier this year, the prospect of a Bon Jovi reunion with guitarist Richie Sambora hinged on whether the band would be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Now that their induction is official, he’s looking forward to getting back with the band, even if just for one night. And no, there haven’t yet be conversations about which three songs the band will play at their induction ceremony.
It’s been a couple of years since Richie and Jon Bon Jovi have talked, though they’ve texted occasionally. Richie is also hopeful that former bassist Alec John Such will join the party on Bon Jovi’s big night.
Linkin Park are streaming a live video of their song, “Sharp Edges”, from the One More Light Live album, which will be in stores and available for digital purchase today. The song first appeared on the band’s latest album, “One More Light”, which debuted at No. 1 on the US Billboard 200 earlier this year. The new album showcases material from the band’s final tour with singer Chester Bennington, who committed suicide at his Los Angeles area home on July 20 the age of 41.
Royal Blood have announced that they’ll live stream their show tomorrow night from London on YouTube. They decided to go this route due to the fact so many people missed out on tickets. You can log on Saturday starting at 4 to watch the show, but if you miss it, it’ll be available to replay for seven days starting December 17th. Royal Blood released their second album, How Did We Get So Dark? in June this year.
The BBC have suspended their working relationship with Queens Of The Stone Age’s Josh Homme. That comes after Josh kicked a photographer at a show in Los Angeles last week, which resulted in her having her go to the hospital.
Josh later apologized, but it’s now reported that the BBC have halted airing the work he did on their children’s network CBeebies. He appeared on the channel in October to read the children’s book Zog by Julia Donaldson, and he was scheduled to read another two stories to be broadcast at a later date… but a BBC spokesperson says that those will be put on hold “until the matter is resolved”.
