Machine Gun Kelly has been cast to play drummer Tommy Lee in the new Netflix Motley Crue movie, The Dirt. The film is based on the band’s 2001 autobiography The Dirt: Confessions of the World’s Most Notorious Rock Band and will tell the story of the band, from their formation on the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles to their final concert on New Year’s Eve 2015. There will be plenty of depiction of band members’ rampant alcohol and drug abuse, sexual debauchery, violent brawls, and run-ins with the law. No word yet on a release date.
Def Leppard have announced dates for a fall tour of Ireland and the UK. The 11-show run will open in Dublin on December 1 and see the band perform their 1987 album, Hysteria, in its entirety. Cheap Trick will open the shows, which will be the first Def Leppard U.K. dates in over three years.
Imagine Dragons shared the first look at their new documentary, Believer. Which premiered this weekend at the Sundance Film Festival and will be broadcast on HBO this summer.
