Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page revealed that he plans to release a new live archival project, among a “number of releases” he has planned. He describes it as “Another multi-track that’s… another view compared to How the West Was Won or The Song Remains the Same.” Unfortunately, that’s all he’ll say for now.
The saga of the Smashing Pumpkins reunion continues. After the band released an official statement about the absence of original bass player, D’arcy Wretzky, she’s answered back by revealing a slew of text messages from band leader, Billy Corgan, with D’arcy noting that over time he offered her a diminishing role, eventually saying, “Billy says that what I deserve is a T-shirt with my face on it. I spoke with him and asked him if there was any possible way that I’d be able to play bass on the tour and he said no”.
Iron Maiden have reported filed a lawsuit in Illinois against websites that have been selling counterfeit merchandise. The band is seeking a temporary restraining order to stop the sites from selling alleged trademark-infringing items, as well as compensation for using Iron Maiden trademarks without permission.
