A 44-year-old Hamilton man is dead after a motorcycle and a car crashed at Upper Wellington at Hester.

It happened at about 7 o'clock Wednesday night.

Police say the motorcyclist was seriously injured and died a short time later.

A 33-year-old Ancaster woman who was driving the car was not injured.

Next of kin have been notified but so far no names have been released and the investigation is continuing.
