Labour peace at St. Joseph’s Home Care.
A tentative deal has been reached that prevents personal support workers from going on strike or being locked out.
Both sides could have triggered a strike or lockout at midnight.
The main issue in the labour talks surrounded a proposal to lower wages for new staff by up to 15 per cent.
The details of the agreement have not been released.
