Hamilton's public works is hoping to resume road service along the Burlington Lift Bridge next week.

But it will be on a limited schedule.

Crews are still trying to repair the bridge after a cable broke earlier this week.

They've lowered the bridge for tests but it will be lifted again this afternoon to allow marine traffic access to Hamilton Harbour.
