Godsmack are filling the time between records with some new cover songs.  Singer Sully Erna tweeted over the weekend, “Today is the last day of mixing the covers EP we’re working on for you.  I think you’re gonna love this!”  Erna says that once the tracks are ready for listeners, he wants to ask management to let them post the songs online and let the fans choose which track will be the single.  The vocalist is keeping the songs they covered under wraps, but adds, “They’re very popular songs, and people are asking us, you know, why are we picking these songs?  Well, because the record hasn’t come out yet, and we’ve probably sold 180 million copies, they’re all hits.”
