Green Day have been letting fans peek inside the process lately with photo and video postings from the studio.  In their latest installment, the band revealed that they’re really growing attached to the new music.  Bassist Mike Dirnt says, “I’m just trying to think of how we can make people feel more attached, as attached to this record as we feel.”  Singer Billie Joe Armstrong added, “I think it’s so personal and so voyeuristic.  I mean, this is the first time we’ve ever really sung about f***ing.”  The group started writing songs last year, and even performed a few impromptu sets for fans.  But they now appear to be on the path to recording their next disc with hopes that it may be out this year.
