The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame induction ceremony just got a little more star power as the list of presenters for the incoming class have been revealed. The Red Hot Chili Peppers have chosen actor/comedian Chris Rock to deliver their induction speech. The Beastie Boys will let the booming voice of Public Enemy’s Chuck D. guide them into the Hall. Guns N’ Roses have yet to reveal who their presenter will be, but an announcement is expected soon. Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band’s Steve Van Zandt will induct The Small Faces/Faces, Bette Midler was chosen for Laura Nyro, and John Mellencamp will do the honors for Donovan. ZZ Top’s Billy F. Gibbons and Dusty Hill will team up to salute Freddie King. Robbie Robertson will induct producers Tom Dowd, Glyn Johns and Cosimo Matassa. Smokey Robinson will speak for The Miracles, Gene Vincent’s Blue Caps, Bill Haley’s Comets, Buddy Holly’s Crickets, James Brown’s Famous Flames, and Hank Ballard’s Midnighters, while Carole King will induct Rock Concert host Don Kirshner. The ceremony takes place April 14th in Cleveland.
