"ASK A COP" on The Ben and Kerry Show has been Hamilton's most talked about radio feature since 2009. Officer Claus Wagner of Hamilton Police services answers every legal question, protects your anonymity, educates you on your rights by his impressive memory of "the book" and thorough knowledge of the law inside and out, plus really puts a face on our local law enforcement community.  He responds to every call or email personally and is fully interactive, extremely knowledgeable, colourful and very entertaining.

All this buttering up and brown-nosing still won’t get us out of any speeding tickets.

• You can get a driving impaired charge on any vehicle including an inflatable raft or riding lawnmower.
• Any cop can pull you over or make an arrest on or off duty regardless jurisdiction.
• It is legal to drive pant less.
• It is illegal to drive with your hazard lights (4 ways) on.
• Blow up dolls and pets do NOT count as a second passenger in HOV lanes, but an infant in car seat does.
• It is legal to cut through a parking lot to avoid a red light.
• It's legal to drive around speed bumps
• It is illegal to leave a passenger under 12 unattended in a vehicle.
