With more lights and displays going up for its second annual year, drive through the family-friendly and winter wonderland that is Gift of Lights. Stretching over a course of over two kilometres through Bingemans’, year’s brilliant spectacle will feature more than 30 static and animated displays – from reindeers, sleighs, elves and, of course, Santa. Also returning is the iconic light tunnel that this year will be an even more awe-inspiring animated experience.
“All together, this extraordinary drive-thru will have more than one million sparkling lights for visitors to marvel at,” says Mark Bingeman, President of Bingemans. “In further developing this year we are certain to impress all our guests.”
Gift of Lights was a new holiday tradition in 2016 and is a holiday experience for everyone of all ages to enjoy. Some of the thoughts on the first of its kind display in Southern Ontario were:
“What a wonderful treat to have in our region. The driving tour is very well put together and offers both creative and traditional light displays that my whole family enjoyed. We loved the Christmas music that accompanied the lights as well. The Gift of Lights truly is a gift to the Region and kicked started the Christmas Spirit for my family.”
— Elizabeth P.
“Nothing other than amazing. The family and I went to see the light display last night and it is worth the drive to Kitchener. Load your family up and head on out – you will absolutely love it.”
— Debra S.
“We’re very excited to have visitors once again experience all of the magic at Gifts of Lights, and create some wonderful family memories together,” adds Bingeman. “We’re coming back bigger, better and brighter than before!”
Bingemans’ Gift of Lights, sponsored this year by Jay Fencing and Libro Credit Union, will open for its first evening on November 17th from 5-10 p.m., and run every day until January 6th, 2018.
